ROSTRAVER TOWNSHIP – Rep. Eric Davanzo (R-Westmoreland) continues to host a series of Back-to-School Ice Cream Socials in August for residents of the 58th District. All events are free and will be held from 6-8 p.m. on the days listed below:
• Monday, Aug. 17, at North Belle Vernon Community Bank Park.
• Wednesday, Aug. 19, at Frick Park, Mount Pleasant.
• Monday, Aug. 24, at West Newton Ball Field, Goering Park, West Newton.
• Wednesday, Aug. 26, 603 Center St., Smithton. (near Harry’s Auto)
“This series of events is family-friendly, so don’t hesitate to bring your kids for an evening of ice cream. It’s never too early to model the importance of civic involvement, especially as many of us have strong opinions about the best way to recover from the pandemic,” Davanzo said.

Residents who are unable to attend an ice cream social but have a question, concern or idea to discuss may call Davanzo’s district office during regular business hours, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
