ROSTRAVER TOWNSHIP – Reps. Eric Davanzo (R-Westmoreland) and Mike Reese (R-Westmoreland/Somerset) will host a Drive-Through Luncheon for veterans, first responders and law enforcement on Friday, Oct. 16, from noon to 1:30 p.m. at the Westmoreland County Fairgrounds, 123 Blue Ribbon Lane, Greensburg.
“It’s not easy to put a uniform on each day not knowing if you’ll be able to see your family again, but our veterans, first responders and law enforcement shoulder that stress to protect all of us,” Davanzo said. “We owe them limitless gratitude. This luncheon is a very small way to thank them, and it’s my honor to host it with Rep. Reese.”
At the luncheon, all veterans, first responders and law enforcement will receive a certificate of service and special gift. The complimentary meal will be cookout fare.
“The men and women who have served or continue to serve our country and our communities are too often taken for granted,” Reese said. “In addition to demonstrating our appreciation for these public servants through the luncheon, I also want to encourage all citizens to take the time to thank our veterans, first responders and law enforcement officers anytime they get the chance.”
The event is free to attend for all veterans, first responders and law enforcement personnel of the 58th and 59th Districts to attend. Everyone being honored is invited to bring one guest. Please RSVP by Friday, Oct. 9, by calling Davanzo’s district office at 724-929-2655 or emailing
