ROSTRAVER TOWNSHIP – Rep. Eric Davanzo (R-Westmoreland) today announced that a $7,245 grant has been awarded by the Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) to Saint Sebastian School in accordance with
Act 18 of 2019.
The grant money, which was awarded through a competitive program, will be used to prevent and reduce violent incidents and promoting a better environment for learning.
“All students deserve to feel safe at school, and their safety is critical to their academic success. We need them to be focusing on learning, so this grant will play an important role,” Davanzo said. “I’m glad to see that our students will benefit from this funding.”
Saint Sebastian is one of 36 nonpublic schools to receive a program grant from PDE.
