HARRISBURG – The Belle Vernon Area Football Team was recognized for winning the 2023 PIAA Class AAA Championship in Harrisburg Monday. Players and coaches had an opportunity to meet Pennsylvania State Reps. Eric Davanzo and Ryan Warner, as well as Pennsylvania Senate President Pro Tem Kim Ward and Sen. Pat Stefano. The Leopards beat Northwestern Lehigh 38-7 in December to win the team’s second PIAA trophy in as many years.

House Bill 1032 creates the Pennsylvania Solar for Schools Grant Program, which will provide financial assistance to schools to fund solar energy projects.
